I just stumbled across this site while looking for LGBT bars in Merced/Modesto/etc. I grew up in Merced and moved away when I was 18 – I come back about twice a year to visit family. I just wanted to drop a quick note to say that I was surprised but very proud that a blog/website like this exists! Keep up the good work!
